Pole Star Property Services comply with The Data Protection Act 1998 & General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which governs the collection, storage, use and disclosure of personal data.
Pole Star Property Services have a retention period for all documentation of 6 years and after this time we will delete all unless there is a legal reason that they need to be retained.
We will not pass any information about our clients to third parties for any reason without your explicit written consent nor do we pass client information to third parties only where it may be necessary or beneficial in carrying out the work for which you have instructed us to do or where we have to disclose information to third parties because of our legal or regulatory obligations or to prevent fraud or money laundering.
Where you are a trustee, you agree to advise any beneficiary of the trust that their personal information will be dealt with on these terms.
You can request a copy of your personal data held with Pole Star Property Services.
You need to submit a subject access request to us, and be specific, stating clearly that you are making a Subject Access Request and list the specific information, emails, or account details you want.
Pole Star Property Services will provide this information within one calendar month from the date of the request.
